Iris Apfel has recently turned 101 years old. She is an icon and we should worship her. Not just because it seems she may be immortal but the for the life she leads.

When I think Iris… I think bold, fearless texture, pattern, layers, and color. A flawless merge of Art and design. She combines principles of design and elements of art into her style. Her style is artwork!

Iris is a businesswoman, interior designer, and fashion designer. Her career revolved around textiles. She’s traveled the world, worked for the White House through 9 presidencies, lectures on fashion, and has had an exhibition on her style at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She is an Icon!
